Queen of Fire and Ace of Earth combine to make this week start with a bang. Both powerful action cards, but the two of them together can encourage a rigid approach. Be aware of where you may be stuck, and make some changes in direction.
Ace of Earth brings positive change to our lives. Queen of Fire lights up our passion and enthusiasm. Tarot & Tea brings you the energy of the week at a glance. And shows you how to embrace it and make the most of the week.
Get out of your usual routines and change things up.
Where can you make some positive changes? What’s been holding you back? Take some time to journal, meditate, contemplate and pray. Look in the mirror and see. But use the energy to take a step forward in life. So, it’s a week of action, if you let it happen. Embrace the energy. Make a move towards bringing what you really want from life into fruition.
As we move to the middle of the week, we hit a big deal card. The Child. Beginnings continue, if that makes sense. Hah!
Believe in magic.
Too often, we get bogged down by the sense of feeling small and inept. The world seems to have gone mad and it’s enough that we get through each day. When the Child turns up in a reading, we are reminded that life wasn’t always that way. Connect with the wonder of seeing life through the eyes of a child.
If you have children you can play with, get down on their level and explore. If not, go back in your memory. Even if your childhood wasn’t the best, there were times when your heart soared, when you found magic all around. Go play on a swing. Or splash in a puddle. Or roll down a hill.
And find time to write in your journal. Explore the deep recesses of your mind by writing first thing in the morning. While the angels are still on our shoulders, and the dreams haven’t drifted away from us.
Forgive the past and embrace the future. But play in the now.
And as we move into the weekend, we are guided by The Youth. Another powerful reminder to keep dreaming, but to get moving. It’s not enough to just accept the platitudes. Yes, being grateful for what we have is important. But if we want more, why not go for it?
Let the Youth guide you forward with the energy of innocence and excitement for what may come.
We are asked to address the desire for change, and to dig down for the determination and courage to make it so. Don’t let the nay-sayers put you off. And whatever you do, don’t believe you have to play it small and be like everyone else.
Be you. The world needs you. Not a pale version of you. The real you.
Definitely a week of changes, should you choose to embrace the energy. Don’t worry about the timing. Baby steps. But don’t hold back, because when change is in the air, that’s when the magic happens. So, go ahead, be brave. Make things happen.
Our tea for the week is taking us out of our comfort zone. As we make changes we need to nourish and nurture our physical body. Remember, we are body, mind, emotions and spirit. It’s always the body that’s the slowest when it’s time for change. So, a nice cup of healing tea is required each day. I’m going with Stinging Nettles.
Healing, nurturing and nourishing. the stings are gone once the herb is dried. Embracing the energy of spring and naturally, gently cleansing. Can’t face the idea of drinking nettles? Make a strong mason jar full overnight. Then dilute during the day with sparkling water and a few fruits.
Now, you’ve already started to change things up.
Honestly, if you need more energy and wish to sleep better, then Nettle Tea is for you. Click here to read more about how good they are for you.
(There’s a link below, so no excuses not to start drinking your nettles!)
If you look carefully at the photo, you’ll see my tea-leaf reader charms. All indicators of happy change: cherries, angel, ballerina, frog and a bird. Double-whammy this week, Dear Heart. Go for it!
