A little inspiration for today:
Starting each day with meditation, today’s message from spirit was simply ‘do your best.’
The change in the weather has brought some bugs into the home. Hubby has man flu. Puppy gastroenteritis.
The urge to runaway beckons. ‘I’ll be at the clinic working!’ Take off. And dive into work. Justify my behavior as important.
But listening to spirit, to the whispers of my heart…what I really need to do is slow down. Prioritize.
What’s important here? To me?
Caring for loved ones. Yes, #mefirstdarling. Then kindness to loved ones. And my irritation with hubby + my dog shifted. Compassion set in.
The best version of me.
So, tucking hubby up in bed. Eucalyptus oil burning. Hot tea on the night stand.
Rice simmering. Pumpkin stew cooling. Gentle nourishments for my pup.
Breathing deeply, I can head into work with a light heart.
Sometimes a shift in our thoughts can bring such lightness to the day. Nothing outside changed. I changed my mind.
It’s easy when you know how, and that’s the beginning of overcoming anxiety + depression. Alleviate fear. Become your best version.
Perfect? No. Fabulous? You bet!
