Yindalini Therapeutic Yoga
Wednesday mornings in Tavira. A great place to start, or restart, your yoga practice with guided, 60-minute sessions. This is a fun weekly class suitable for all ages and designed to improve health and well-being.
This class combines the skills of two highly experienced instructors. Totally inclusive, we encourage everyone to stretch, move, breathe and relax.
Jacqueline and Margaret meet you exactly where you are and guide you with modifications and personal attention to steadily expand what you are capable of. If you are ready to activate your energy and uplift how you move through your life this class is for you.
You do not need previous experience, flexibility or anything fancy at all. However, a sense of humour is highly encouraged.

Jacqueline Fairbrass
My yoga journey began when I was 15. Simply, I found a Yoga TV show and learned to shut off the ongoing anxiety of living in a dysfunctional family. Each day after school, I learned how to stretch, move, breathe and meditate with Hatha Yoga. Eventually, I took Yoga Teacher Training with Gemini New Age Yoga and in 1993 began teaching.
As someone who loves to learn, I took numerous training courses over the years: Surrender for Addicts, Yoga for Round Bodies come to mind. But in 1999 when I became a single parent I found Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. A turning point for me, and where the ‘dalini’ comes from in Yindalini.
Fast forward to 2020 when I met Margaret and she shared her love of Yin Yoga, and Yindalini was born. But it’s so much more than ‘yoga’. With a background in Health Consulting, I share over 30 years’ experience in health and wellness. And as a metaphysical teacher I simplify quantum physics and bring ‘energy medicine’ into our classes.

Margaret Coleman
I studied Anatomy, Physiology, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology at John Moores University and The University of Manchester and qualified as a teacher trainer, assessor, and examiner in exercise and wellbeing and became a course Director for the RSA in 1990. My degree is a BA with Hons in Education, and other qualifications include a Level 5 Diploma, City Guilds, Cert Ed & Yoga & Meditation Pilamaya & Yindalini Trained.
I am a huge fan of Yin Yoga & Fascia stretch therapy (FST) Yin Yoga is a fantastic practice for sports people. FST improves range of movement, mobility, reduces pain fatigue!
