This is the energy of the day, January 12, 2017, and how to embrace and make the most of it.
The urge to burn brightly rules us today. Go for it! Fire energy pulls magic to our day. Allow your wishes and dreams to come to the surface. Start to make something happen.
One of the totem animals I’m working with this year is Frog. What’s that got to do with Eleven of Fire? Frog energy is all about transition, adaptability and strength. So, is our card today. When fire burns through we are left with a clearing. The first thing to grow is Fireweed, whose dormant seeds are activated by the heat. Be the Fireweed in your life.
What didn’t kill you made you stronger. At the time, it can seem easier to just lay down and die. But that passes. And so we integrate new lessons and become a stronger person.
Embrace that today. Own your strengths and your own magic. Be the expert. Light a fire.
‘Have many ideas. Do one.’ Attributed to the Buddha, I love this saying, and have used it for many years. It reminds me that sitting around having lots of idea is one thing. Actually getting off my butt and making them happen is something else. Hook into the excitement of a new project and have fun.
I love to knit, and starting a new project is always the best bit. So, Eleven of Fire today reminds us to inject excitement into old projects too. Working on something and getting stale? How can you fill it with passion and energy again? Take some time to ponder on that. Then do something to charge it up.
Can’t possibly get excited over an old project? Be that something physical like knitting, or more abstract like a love affair. And, of course, anything in between. Is it time to let it go. Burn it. Become Fireweed and grow again from the ashes.
The Masculine/Feminine aspect of Eleven of Fire encourages us to look to where our strengths lie. We need to be both yang and yin to make the most of life.
According, we need a nicely balance tea to match the masculine/feminine of today. So, I’m sipping a lovely black tea filled with earthy goodness. Reflecting the abundance of the feminine aspect of tea the most fertile of plants. And I’ve added some cardamom to balance the masculine elements to strengthen union. Delicious! Balanced. Harmonious.
Get going. Full speed ahead. Light a fire. Recognize your strengths and give light to your magic.
