Balance and cooperation. Keep those priorities to the forefront, but don’t forget to take time out to play and relax. Tarot & Tea, Two of Earth
This is the energy of the day, and how to embrace and make the most of it.
Have you ever noticed it can be so easy to get wrapped up in full speed ahead. But our Angel Guides are reminding us that all work and no play makes Jack or Jill very dull indeed. Keep your day light. Do what needs to be done, and remember to be flexible and open to compromise.
We’re liable to be in a go get ’em mode when Two of Earth shows up. And that’s not a bad thing. However, when we get too focused on moving ahead with our goals and projects, we can get seriously out of whack very quickly. So build breaks into your day. Set your phone to ping after an hour, and get up from the computer, stretch, go make a cuppa tea.
Don’t try to cram too much in to today. Make a list and highlight the three most important things. Do them. Then re-evaluate and decide whether you need to do more. Pick another three. Get the picture? Staying in control rather than letting things whoosh you along. Don’t get swept off your feet. Cooperation.
Do listen to others. As compromise makes life easier today. Pick your battles. Stand up for what’s right, but think before you fight.
Be aware of your needs: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Find time for each of them. Check in with your body? Do you need to move? Do you need a glass of water? Something to eat? Does your mind need to switch off for a bit? Have a little mindless time. Does it need to switch on and get focused. Pause and check in.
Take care of your emotional and spiritual needs, but meditating, praying or contemplating. It doesn’t have to be formal. Simply check in with the Great Goodness and say ‘thanks for everything’ and you’re golden.
And talking about golden, I’ve chosen a lovely Ceylon tea this morning. No milk needed, and I can’t help but admire the golden color. Not too strong, not too weak. Why, yes, it’s a perfectly balanced brew for a perfectly balanced day. In fact, it’s one to sip all day. Lovely for that afternoon tea break I know you are building into your balanced day.
A day to accept our limitations. Cooperation with self. Yes, we can be super men and women, but not all the time. Delegate, compromise, and accept that some days we need to rest up more than others. Pay attention to your needs.
Much love,
