This is the energy of the day, and how to embrace and make the most of it.
Five of water brings emotions to the forefront. Remember that we are body, mind, spirit and emotions. Emotions don’t get to take us over. It may be tempting to wallow in regrets and blame. To stay in a victim mind-set. But when we do, we are missing the beauty of life. Look up, Dear Heart. Let the past be. Don’t cry over spilt milk, but enjoy the milk you have.
Are we so busy looking at what went wrong, we’re not noticing what’s going well? Whether showing up for you as a global issue or in your day-to-day life, we are reminded to look at the bright. We are doing well. There are rainbows ahead. Sunshine is on the horizon. Look up! Find the love.
We all experience loss and abandonment. Disappointment. Every single one of us. But don’t let it color everything in your life. We can feel guilt, unhappiness, have a sense of blame. But it’s only part of the picture. Take a moment to pull out your journal and write down three successes you’ve had recently. However little or big they may seem. They’re yours. Own them.
Emotions take us into despair, but only if we let them.
When I was in depths of despair, (yes, I’ve been there) my daily miracle was getting out of bed and having a shower. By celebrating every little achievement. Yay! I washed my hair. Yay! I walked the dog. Yay! I’m still breathing, in and out. That’s how I beat the blues of depression. Instead of sitting in my pain, I began to focus on my blessings.
I’m not saying it’s easy. At times, it’s bloody hard. And if that’s where you are at today, then go talk to someone. Ask for help. And take a deep breath, right now. I’m sending you a huge cyber hug, complete with the help of Archangel Michael. Feel a healing take place. However, small. Shift.
If we can’t let it go, then it’s time to get help to resolve old issues and pain. Give yourself permission to heal, and to move on with life. Take a course. See a counselor. Get a card reading. Talk to reliable friends. But give yourself permission to heal. Now! Get some help to get unstuck. Things will get better, honestly.
We don’t forgive others for their benefit. We forgive them for our own. It’s not about saying ‘that’s okay’, but about acknowledging to ourselves that we won’t let the pain of the past hold any power over the now. My Acceptance CD can help you get started. Check it out.
