Time to review our close relationships. Clearing our clutter, we release those that do not support us. Tarot & Tea, Four of Air Reversed.
This is the energy of the day, and how to embrace and make the most of it.
Four of Air is always a nudge to look at where distractions are occurring. Where are we being taken off our path and lured by procrastination and goofing off? When it turns up Reversed, it’s time to review our friendships and relationships. Is there someone helping you sabotage your efforts?
You may have a distinct sense of someone who puts you down. Questions ‘how’ and even laughs at your dreams and ambitions. Well, Dear Heart, the fix is simple. Stop sharing with those who don’t support you.
If you’ve people like that around you, you’ll never change them. But, you can change you. Stop sharing your precious dreams and emotions with those who cannot be 100% with you.
Or maybe it’s more insidious and no one comes to mind. Dive deeper into review.
A good day to look at our relationships. To do this, we have to come into the now. I’m a sucker for holding on to people who I’ve grown apart from, because they supported me at one time, or we used to have such fun together. Learning to be in the now, and see relationships for what they are ‘now’, reveals whether they uplift you or drag you down.
Breathe deeply, feel your feet on the floor. Set reminders to come back to now. Buddhists use the ring of a bell. When the bell rings, they bring their attention to now, breathe, settle into their bodies. Then carry on from there. Simple for us to use, we can set up the computer or phone to ding! And use this to be present.
This is a simple way to use a meditation technique on a daily, even hourly basis. Meditation isn’t just for when we’ve got half an hour of peace and quiet. It’s a daily tool to make life more beautiful and peaceful.
Simple mindfulness is the best meditation. And each morning as I sip my tea, that’s where I start my day. This morning to match the Four of Air Reversed energies, I’m sipping a simple organic Rooibos tea. Red tea with notes of honey and vanilla, yum. Lifting my spirits and centering me before the work week begins.
(Btw, people have been asking me where to find these lovely teas I drink, so I’ve added a link at the end for you. Enjoy!)
So, Dear Heart, stay mindful, especially around people today. Review who you share with. Be prepared to let people go. It opens the space for new and supportive peeps to enter.
