Emotions creep to the surface as we shine a light on our deepest hurts. We start the week with an emotional cleansing. Nine of Water brings a healing shower of light and love. Allow.
This is the energy of the week, and how to embrace and make the most of it.
Do what you need to let go of past hurts. There’s no point in holding on to something that makes us sad. Whether this be a habit that needs to change, or a way of being, just accept. Write in your journal, talk to a confidante, or pray to the Great Goodness. Ask for help, and listen to the whispers of your heart’s desires.
Healing begins with acceptance. Change comes next.
And by the middle of the week, we’ll feel a sense of lightening up! XIX, Emotions reminds us to laugh. Have fun. Play lightly on this earth.
Laughter creates positive emotions. Grab a favorite movie that makes you giggle. Take time to be with your pets and let their antics tickle you. If you have the blessing of being around small children, definitely take time to let their positive nature lift your spirits.
Look for the lightness and laughter this Wednesday and Thursday. By being happy now, know you are creating a joyful future. Even if everything seems bleak, find that silver lining and do something that makes you laugh.
Friday morning has us waking with a sense of action. Not the manic kind, but the creative. Get out into the garden and embrace the energy of Queen of Earth. Nothing like getting into the dirt to connect with our inner nature.
Even potting plants in the house connects us, so no excuses!
Our emotional body is nurtured by caring for plants and gardens.
How about making a faery garden? Whether you can do this indoors or out, set your intent to make a little garden to invite the lightness of faery energy into your life.
Imagine being a faery. What would you like? I choose plants with little flowers, and crystals to increase the magic. A friend makes little houses and pops them into the flower bed. Allow your inner child out to play. Have fun with this.
And the perfect tea to accompany a week of light emotions is Chamomile. Chamomile helps us become calm, and is a favorite herb to drink before bed. A lot of us are having sleep problems right now. Make a bedtime ritual, and include sipping a cup of chamomile tea before putting your head on your pillow. (Subject to allergies, of course. No likey Chamomile, try some Nettles.)
So, Dear Heart, a week to wash away the blues, release an old habit (or two) and embrace the magic of life. As always, I’m here for you.
Bright blessings,
Gratitude, as always to Ravynne Phelan for her graciousness in allowing me to use her Dreams of Gaia deck.
