Do what’s necessary, not what’s expected. Show up in your life, with balance and self-accountability.
Tarot & Tea brings Week at A Glance to show us the energy of the week, and how to embrace and make the most of it.
This week starts out with a bang! The Crone delivers an angelic smack up the back of the head. Do what’s necessary, not what’s expected. Be prepared to stand up for yourself and fight back.
We have freedom of choice and freedom to be. So, it’s time to embrace what’s working for you ad throw out the rest. Get real. What do you need to do?
Let go of other’s expectations, and get down to the nitty-gritty of what you want. How are you showing up. Pull out your journal and write. Sit quietly with your thoughts. But take time to be in the now and ask yourself ‘is this the life I really want?’
Start making changes and be prepared to roll up your sleeves.
One step. One simple change. And the journey begins. Gentle change leads to permanent results.
Self-accountability.
As we move into Wednesday, we get the opportunity to look at where we haven’t been speaking up.
Three of Air Reversed. Look now at where you haven’t been shining. In a world filled with noise, have we been silent? Sometimes it can seem easier to appear ignorant, when we know that deep, down inside, we have a lot to offer.
But hold yourself accountable to honesty. Look in the mirror. Get honest, because it’s not a good time to speak up without checking our facts. An opinion is just an opinion, without the facts to back it up. Step away from the herd mentality and do some research.
Find a mentor to help you learn and grow.
And moving into Friday and the weekend, we shift into Eleven of Water reversed. The message is direct, and we’ll see the signs clearly. There’s an imbalance in our lives. A blockage that needs to be removed.
Often we find ourselves motivated by opposing factors. We like the sound of opposing options. Eleven of Water cautions us to come to balance. Love and fear, giving and receiving, are both sides of the same coin.
Or, as I’m often heard saying:
Hold on tightly, let go lightly.
Definitely a week to enjoy a strong and uplifting cuppa each day. This week’s tea is my very own Bramble Cottage. Brimming with the magic of blackberries and vanilla. It’s like dessert in a cup, but don’t let that fool you. It packs a punch, waking up your taste buds and stimulating your mind.
Overall this week, we are going to see signs that have us looking at how we are showing up. Let go of victim mentality. It’s time for a psychic make-over.
You’ve got this. And if you need some help, a Mentor to guide you, you’ve got me. I’ll hold you to that self-accountability and teach you how to live life fabulous.
