A perfect end to April and start of May, Three of Earth comes forward to encourage us to do the groundwork.
Our Tarot & Tea Week at a Glance reading is full of the joys of Spring. This is the energy of the week, and how to embrace and make the most of it.
Get digging, weeding and planting. Whether we take this literally and get out into the garden or use it as metaphor to get the necessary preparations into place to take the next step in life, it’s fabulous.
Embrace progress.
But don’t feel it has to be rushed and frenetic!
In fact, we’re much better off to be methodical and practical in our applications. Remember the tortoise and the hare? Slow and steady wins the race.
Take time to pause and meditate. Pull out your journal as you contemplate the question:
‘What am I willing to do now in order to achieve the outcome I desire?’
As we move into the middle of the week, we are still embracing earth energies, but with a warning. King of Earth reversed reminds us to let go of control. In fact, it’s ‘let go and let god’ time Wednesday and Thursday.
For some of us, the sense of control may seem so far from our own path, that we are encouraged to speak up for ourselves. Is there a controlling aspect of a relationship you are in? Do you feel unheard? King of Earth encourages you to speak up for yourself. But don’t be bombastic! Be assertive and not aggressive.
And if someone else is in the spotlight right now, applaud! Your time will come. As, I said, ‘let go and let god’.
TGIF! Thank goodness it’s Friday brings the attention back to us. XIV Self reminds us that we are the center of our own Universe.
Embrace your unlimited potential.
Phew! Sounds like a tall order. Not at all. It’s all about removing the labels that we have embraced and making a clean sweep.
We all have roles we play in life, and for some of us, there’s one way the world sees us. For example, when we are young and we see a school teacher as, well, as the school teacher. Then one day we bump into them in the supermarket, and we get a shock! They have another role in life.
That’s the energy we don’t want hanging around. So, take some time to think about how you’ve put yourself into a little box. And then, decide to open up to more.
But how?
Start with some small changes. Take a different route to work. Treat yourself to a new dress or t-shirt and get it in a color you don’t usually wear. Change your hair style or color. Shake it up and show up differently.
How do you want people to see you? How do you want to show up in the world. Meditate, contemplate and journal about this. Then take one step towards it. Gentle change leads to permanent results. You don’t have to do it all at once. But set your intent with the first step.
So, let’s boost our metabolism with Honey Orchid Oolong tea this week. Rich, deep and earthy. This tea has a mysterious quality to it. And it’s such a treat! I’ve popped a link below so you can get some and join me. And yes, it really does boost metabolism, so is quite handy if you are on a weight loss plan prepping for the summer.
All in all, a week of progress, as we step into making our dreams come true and showing up as who truly be. Do something that starts the process this week, or take the next step on the journey. Progress.
You’ve got this.
Stay fabulous!
