Angel Tarot Card of the Day

Angel Tarot | Card of the Day | Jacqueline FairbrassAngel Tarot Card of the Day ~ Four of Air. Air represents our mind, the intellect. The angels are telling us to give it a rest.

This Angel Card reading influences the entire week, starting Friday August 14. The heart-centered Leo New Moon may make us feel that we need to look outside for romance. But the message this week is to go inside, love begins at home. Love begins in our own heart.

We always want to think our way out of our problems, but our mind wanders in the same patterns. Think, think, think. How can we change our ways of thinking?

The answer is simple: By resting.

Resting can be as easy as taking a nap, or is it time for a lovely break from everything…a vacation maybe? This would be a fabulous time to start a vacation. Maybe you could take a mini-break this weekend? Don’t have time? The Angels are giving us permission to slow down and take some time for ourselves. In fact, if we ignore it, we may find we are heading in the wrong direction.

When we rest and don’t fixate on our life’s worries we actually are putting our problems ‘on the back burner’. Simmering gently allows a new solution to come forward. I always find I do my best and most creative work when I allow myself to ‘let it go’ and not poke around in my brain for answers. Try it!

You don’t have to rush into a decision. Allow yourself some time and space.

And allow yourself to heal. Green agate comes forward letting us heal from our hearts. Close your eyes, breathe deeply and relax. If you can place your feet on the floor, even better. Let your shoulders drop away from your ears. Now using your powerful mind, slow it down. Imagine your heart chakra (energy center like a ball in the middle of your chest) to glow with swirling green light. Just picture it in your mind’s eye. See if you can ‘feel’ it. Meditate (just think about the ball of light in your chest) for a while. You will start to feel open, loving and peaceful. Carry that with you today.

Elephant reminds us that we can get everything done, step by step. We are here on this lovely planet, enjoy it today. Rest, meditate and give yourself permission to heal.

Today is a day for self-care. Go gently.

Take that gentleness into the weekend. And if you find yourself reading this and the dates don’t align, know this is a message straight from your Angels to you. Yes, it’s time to rest.

Good morning Jacqueline- Well ok! I’m going back to bed:-) lol I really love this message message today. Resting is a theme I have seen coming up a lot in many of my conversation and when I’m out and about enjoying life. I really appreciate the reminder to give myself time and space when making decisions. I’ve been practicing giving myself 30 days before acting on a new project or starting something new. This way I know if I’m still excited about it, feels good in my body and makes sense (or sometimes not:-)lol) It may be something to consider moving forward with in the near future. Have a wonderful weekend!

Thank you Dana…I love that tip. 30 days might be a bit hard, but I’ll give it a whirl. I’m usually pretty good at pausing before responding, but can get in my own way with over excitement sometimes. So 30 days it is.

I’ve started coloring in a coloring book (this one has Magnificent Mehndi Designs). It’s a great way to take a mini-break and relax.
    Have you tried it?

Yes, definitely love coloring. Used the Anatomy and Physiology coloring books to study and found it so relaxing, I’ve log been a fan. And of course, coloring with the grandkids is fun too. Do you color outside the lines?

This is so timely, I have been practicing my no’s and slowing down this week. I don’t have to say yes to everything and have not.

Resting actually allows us to cover more grown because our minds are rested and recharged.

    Thanks for sharing.

My pleasure! I love to hear that you are saying ‘no’ more often. I’m always encouraging clients to establish better boundaries. ‘Me first’ isn’t a bad thing at all.

“Love begins in our own heart.” LOVE THAT! It is so very true. If we can’t love ourselves first, we can’t possibly allow someone else to love us. I have been doing a lot of self-love this past year, repairing myself from lost/broken love. I am still not ready to let someone else in, as I need to fully and completely love myself first!

Thank you for sharing Amy. When my marriage ended, I began a journey to self-love. It took me ten years to be ready to let someone in again. I’ll hold you in my heart and prayers that your return to self-love is quicker than mine. But take the time you need to heal. Hugs.
