The past can’t be changed, so there’s no point in dwelling on it. Look up. Look forward. Move on. Tarot & Tea, XI Healing.
This is the energy of the day, and how to embrace and make the most it.
It’s time to let go of regrets. Release the old. Let’s choose where we put our attention, and bring ourselves into the now. The Healing card doesn’t imply that we are broken or wounded, or that we even need healing. It asks us to bring out attention to the now and get out of the past. Or the future.
We are driven to achieve. It’s a natural state of being. We want to be better, have more and live with an abundance of joy, love and laughter. However, sometimes we get out of whack. When that happens we can see ourselves as wounded, as imperfect and nothing we do seems to be good enough. We struggle instead of strive.
So, let’s press the reset button.
We are good enough. We did our best with the information we had at the time. And let’s choose to get realistic about life. Let’s choose to enjoy the good.
Pull out your gratitude journal. You don’t have one? Then it’s time to start one. Write down three things you are grateful for right now. Just three. However low we are, we can find three things that we are grateful for. Now, because this lifts our spirits and changes our awareness from lack to abundance, make a pact with yourself to do it every morning for a week.
Try it. You’ve nothing to lose but a few minutes of time. Instead of jumping on social media, take a few minutes to write down some good stuff. And if you like, you can add three more at bedtime.
When I was in one of my darkest funks in life, and honey as a Pisces with Cancer rising, I do emotional funks like a mo-fo! If you’re going to have a pity-party may as well make it the best one you can! Anyhoos, I was so low and lost, and I was reminded of gratitude as a healing power. So, I started a gratitude journal. And some days I wrote, ‘I’m grateful I’ve got breath, I’m grateful for my cup of tea, thank you for my fuzzy slippers.’
Every day, coming up with something. Then one day, it began to flow. And bonus…life began to be rosy again.
And I’m always grateful for tea.
So, it’s time for tea. What type of tea matches Healing? Definitely going to have to go with a healing herb, but secretly craving Oolong. So Oolong it is. Dark, smoky flavors of decadent black tea. I’ve been having an afternoon love affair with a Honey Orchid Oolong, and this morning I’m being present, in the now and sipping a lovely cuppa.

A little gentle nudge from the Guides to get back on the healing path. I’m grateful for so much, and that includes you.
