Wisdom is Best Shared with Those who will Listen

Love to learn. Learn to Love. Tarot & Tea, VII The Sage. Listen to the whispers of your intuition. Own your wisdom.

This is the energy of the day and how to embrace and make the most of it.

We all carry a little Sage energy within us. Some more than others. But don’t be afraid to acknowledge your own inner wisdom. Too often we look to others to know what is best for us. We are reminded to listen to advice, but we don’t always have to take it. Trust that.

A day to look at our traditions, the patterns of family life that we learned as a child. Do we respond to situations based on old patterns, or from our innate wisdom? Self-exploration is encouraged. Not all family patterns are bad, but maybe we’d like to be free to make our own choices.

This exploration may take you to a chat over tea with a friend, time with a counsellor or a coach, or finding a mentor. Be open to the opportunities today. Be aware.

Listen carefully so you may: Love to learn. Learn to love.

We are constantly learning and growing, changing and adapting. But we can get so set in our ways, that change is painful. Light a candle, say a prayer. Ask the Great Goodness to help you be open to learning, open to love and open to more fun in life.

Forgive yourself for your errors. Let go of regrets and guilt. As the candle burns, imagine it taking the past failures with it. Only the joy, knowledge and good stuff remains. Sit with this meditation for as long as you have, and when you blow out the candle, send the light to you!

Sipping Bramble Cottage tea again this morning, as I look out at my poor battered brambles. The rain has drenched them, the snow flattened them. But they have no regrets and will bounce up again. (And I saw that the cheeky deer, who snack on them year round, left them a few gifts of natural fertilizer. Even poop has it’s use!)

Use your inner wisdom, the Sage energy, to learn from the past and let what no longer serves you go.
