My new ‘Love Notes from Bramble Cottage’ continue to bring my expert holistic wellness advice to you. But wait, there’s more…I’m including more self-care and useable info to turn fear to love through releasing anxiety and depression.
And I’m committed to making it super easy for you: Myth busting and simplifying so everyone can understand and learn.
Check out today’s Recipe for more joy and less stress.
When was the last time you treated yourself to some ‘me time’?
‘Angels can fly because they take themselves so lightly’? Take it to heart and lighten-up.
With Movie-Night! (Or afternoon, morning, whatever floats your boat.)
Our goal this week is to find a two-hour block (minimum, we can always do more) to just lighten-up and have fun. Your mission, if you choose to accept it…watch a movie.
Find something new, one of those movies on the wish list or do as I do and pull out an old favorite.
Turn off the phone. (Yes really…or at least put it across the room so you have to walk and pick it up.)
Pull out the popcorn, or a yummy snack. Or order a take-out. Make a nice cuppa tea, or pour a glass of your fave wine.
Put your comfy-womfies on. (For me, that’s leopard print pjs and slippers.)
Put your feet up and relax. (Psst…the world will wait.)
Sit back, forget about everything and disappear into the magic of being entertained.
Why?
To live a longer, more productive and healthier life. Really.
Clinical studies prove that those who take time to enjoy the little things in life actually live longer, more productive and healthier lives.
Our bodies actually produce natural chemicals that uplift our mood. We breath more deeply and oxygenate our blood.
And the bottom-line is that this gives us a sense of being able to cope with all that life throws our way.
So, kick off your shoes, sit back and enjoy a movie this week. I’d love to hear which one you picked. Me? I’m watching The Wedding Singer.
Stay tuned, Share with your friends, and most importantly,
Stay fabulous,
