We need to love food again. Why?
Food is a multi-billion dollar business. A multi-billion dollar business! Let that sink in…
We are being fed a bunch of lies and what’s super scary is that most people don’t know it.
Last blog, I explored the contamination of plants right from the seed. But there’s more to the story…
The seed grows the plant, which feeds the animals. Farm factory practices are vile, inhumane and heart breaking. I’m not a vegetarian (although I did try my best to be one for 20 years as I felt it a spiritual calling…another story!)
I eat meat.
And I eat eggs.
Also, I eat fruit and vegetables and grains.
I am an omnivore if ever there was one.
And I’m a foodie. Yes, I enjoy eating food and I’m freaky, fussy about eating yummy, wholesome food. And I love to cook.
So, naturally, I do my best to find meat that has been raised humanely and has minimal processing.
Back to the seed that’s fed to the animal in inhumane living standards. The grains are not wholesome, so the resulting meat isn’t wholesome. At every level our food sources are contaminated. Our food is factory manufactured, right from the beginning.
The labeling on food is misleading (and that’s me being generous). It’s manipulative. Natural colors and flavors doesn’t mean that it’s from a real food source. These terms mean nothing.
The words ‘natural’ and ‘pure’ have no legal standing. IE Pure can be ‘purely made in a laboratory’.
Free range, as in free range eggs, invokes images of happy chickens pecking away in a yard. It means stressed out, sick chickens in crates being fed antibiotics to keep them alive. It means a doorway open to a tiny enclosure where they could go out. But they don’t. They live their lives trapped in cages.
Pig farming? Don’t get me started. If you saw the condition of these poor animals you’d never eat a sausage again. Harsh for a Brit like me!
The milk industry has cows unable to move, kept producing milk by hormones, as if they were machines.
It’s heartbreaking. And you cannot be nourished by food that is so unhealthy. It’s not just the sugar, additives and addiction to junk food that is creating our obesity crisis. The nutritional value of this food is limited, and the energetic value is negative.
I’m aware that not everyone can afford to buy the so-called organic and green products.
But there is a way to change the food we eat. All of it.
One way is to keep sharing the information that comes to light and bringing the awareness to the table. We can boycott food companies that we know lie and cheat.
And we can return to the simple act of blessing our food.
Dr. Maruso’s work on water and how words affect the molecular structure of the water, is the hope and salvation of everyone who eats and drinks on this planet.
His beautiful experiments and photographs demonstrate the power of words in a way we’ve never seen before. By setting our intent, we invoke the magic of life force energy returning to the molecular structure of the food.
If this all seems too woo-woo, I remind you that 25 years ago my family and friends thought I was crazy when I went organic and local grown. Now, it’s the latest fad.
Every time you eat or drink anything, pause and give thanks. Bless your food. Send blessings out to the source of the food, whether you believe that’s a benevolent god or a practical farmer.
Say a little prayer.
Bless your Food
Love Food

For a while I did what you suggested, gave thanks for my meal.
You just reminded me that I haven’t done it in a long time.
I am grateful for the food on my table.
🙂

Wonderful. We often ‘fall off the wagon’ in our behaviors. Glad to help you back on.

Funny story…… a gal next to me at my networking meeting today ordered a salad with hard boiled eggs instead of the chicken breast. I inquired if she was vegetarian, to which she replied no, that she only eats chicken that she knows is humanely raised. I stated that wouldn’t the eggs be raised the same as the chicken? She looked at me with horror, she had never thought about it!!

LOL! That’s brilliant.
However, it astounds me that people don’t really think about where their food is coming from. I hope you were able to give her an ‘aha’ moment.

Sometimes it is in the simple acts of being present and conscious that great change can happen. Whether it be in understanding where our food really comes from or in taking the time for honoring that food. Such a great reminder. Thanks J.

It all comes down to energy. You are right. Giving thanks is a way of being consciously aware. That’s a big hurdle we need to collectively jump.
