This is the energy of the day, and how to embrace and make the most of it.

Strive for harmony and inclusion. Don’t look for the differences, but cherish the similarities. Our spirituality can be challenged when we don’t feel connected to others. Look for the places to connect, not disconnect.

What makes us feel separate from others, the distancing, even to the point of embarrassment or shame, is actually often the place at which we connect. We feel different, and so many people shut down the feelings. Today we are invited to connect with spirit, in all we do.

In all we do.

Quite the challenge. But today Union asks us to hold the space to find the spiritual in how we show up.

And in every one around us. One of my favorite quotes by the great teacher Yogi Bhajan is:

If you can’t see god in all, you can’t see god at all.

From the humblest to the highest.

And in the world around us. Every blade of grass being whispered to ‘grow’ by the angels. Every task we undertake, being of service to the Great Goodness.

Where have you removed spirit from your life? Where has it slipped? I’m not talking about religion specifically, although that may apply to you. I’m talking spirituality, being in conscious connection with something bigger than us. And taking that sense into every aspect of our lives.

Take some time to come back to harmony. Harmony, defined as agreement or concord. How can this harmony of Union show up in your life? Take some time to pause in peace, breathe deeply and listen to the whispers of your own knowing. Do what it takes to come back to harmony as the energy today embraces this magic.

I’ve a day of readings ahead, and I’m comfortably anticipating a harmonious day. Sipping my Bramble Cottage tea, watching the sun slowly rise over the mountains. A gentle glow to the day, reminds me of the yogic Hindu teachings about a chariot of light bringing the sun over the earth each morning.
